DRAU 001 - You Can (Not) Despair - throughout the school

[Now that the cafeteria meeting is over—and over late, no thanks to Ishimaru and Mondo—it's time to explore the school to find out what new locations have been opened to them, if there even are any. The students have dispersed around the school to make the investigation go faster. Just what will they find?]

[Let's be real, Mondo is totally waiting until he drag Ishimaru into somewhere semi-private (at least from the others.) At the very least he managed to drag Ishimaru out of there so they could investigate together.]

Hey aniki, where do you wanna start?

[Ishimaru's eager for their alone time too, but he always puts his duties before leisure time so he's basically forced Mondo to help investigate if only for a little while.

He crosses his arms and contemplates a location to check first.]

Why don't we take another look at the locked doors on the fifth floor? They must hold very important information if they remained locked despite us being able to traverse that floor.

Yeah sure, sure.

[He drags Ishimaru up to the fifth floor, ignoring anybody they pass. If they happen to be holding hands it's only because it's the easiest way to drag him. Totally.]

Ah, aniki, we don't have to go so fast...

[But he allows himself to be dragged along anyway, and if they pass anyone he'll give them a polite wave as they fly by.

Before long, they're at the fifth floor and Ishimaru is diligently checking the various locked doors. Video production room is a no-go, so is the headmaster's office and bio lab...]

Ngh...you'd think something would change on this floor, but everything that was locked remains locked. [He frowns, staring down the most recent locked door they've tried.] I hope the others are having more luck than we are.

[Mondo's basically just standing around as Ishimaru checks the doors. And if he happens to have a perfect view of a certain someone's ass then well.]

The Mastermind clearly doesn't want us behind these doors, so let's forget them and find somewhere private.

[Investigating Ishimaru's butt doesn't count as productive investigation, Mondo.

He turns around and gives Mondo a confused look.]

But aniki, we're not finished with the investigation yet. We'll have to report our findings to the others once they've checked the other floors and...

[It totally does. He quickly gets the lecherous grin off his face as Ishimaru turns around. Biting back a groan, he gives a nod.]

Do we have to? I'm sure they won't notice if we're a few minutes late.

[After having missed the morning meeting, Hagakure has finally left the garden and his precious chickens, not to mention the other Hagakure and started wandering towards the cafeteria.]

[Still in the cafeteria. Still no tea. Why even bother exploring when the morning is already ruined by such a despairing situation?]

[He lets out a sigh.]

Maaan, I missed breakfast because I was checking the chickens with 'Kure.

[He moves around the room without turning his back to her as if she's going to attack him the second he turns away as he goes about getting food.]

Shouldn't you be too?

If there was ever a reason not to skip breakfast and go by the chickens, that's a good one.]

I haven't had my tea yet.

[Because that's a valid excuse okay.]

[He gives a laugh because of course that's why she's still here.]

Can't you just make it yourself?

[Playing more of Project: Zombie on the Portable Game System will apparently have to wait since it's exploration time. Doesn't look like anything's changed on the third floor though.]

[Kirigiri has diligently been checking each and every floor, with no luck. She catches sight of Chiaki as she heads up the stairs to the third floor.]

Ah, Nanami. Have you found anything?

[pausebutton]

No...I thought that something might have opened up on an earlier floor, like when an earlier area has a secret that's accessible once the game reaches a certain point, but there's nothing new here.

Unfortunately, I can verify that. I just finished checking the previous floors. Either the Mastermind is going to make us work for it, or nothing new has opened.

[As Chiaki and Kirigiri are conversing, they'll find Togami approaching them from the hall leading to the upper floors. He moves surprisingly fast for someone who just ate a ton of food.

He stops to acknowledge the others.]

Kirigiri, Nanami... [He crosses his arms.] Judging by the looks on your faces, I take it you haven't found any leads.

Nothing.

I thought maybe the spare rooms on the second floor of the dormitories might lead to something, but nothing has changed.
